What Happened When I Gave Myself $100 and Let AI Run the Show
I know. I know. This is a dark fantasy and paranormal romance blog. What on earth am I doing talking about artificial intelligence and passive income?
Bear with me. Because this story has a twist.
I have two lives online.
One of them is here — KL Adams — where I live in the shadows with vampires, dark magic, and stories that haunt you long after the last page. The other is Klynn — where I write about AI, business strategy, and how artificial intelligence is reshaping the way we work and create.
Last week, I decided to run a social experiment that bridges both worlds.
I gave myself $100 and one day to build a passive income stream using AI tools. No client pitching. No paid ads. Just Claude, ChatGPT, Canva, and a whole lot of curiosity.
Here is what I built.
Under the Klynn identity, I created the AI Business Starter Pack — 50 done-for-you prompts for entrepreneurs covering marketing, sales, operations, hiring, and strategy. It went live on Etsy for $9.
Under the KL Adams identity, ChatGPT gave me completely different advice. It told me to create a PDF and sell it on Gumroad for $14.
Two AIs. Two brands. Two completely different strategies.
I am running both simultaneously and documenting everything publicly.
But here is where it gets interesting for you — my dark fiction readers.
The tools that helped me build this in a single day are the same tools I use to research folklore for my vampire fiction, brainstorm plot twists for my paranormal romance, and develop the kind of rich dark worlds you love to get lost in.
AI does not replace the dark imagination. It feeds it.
If you have ever been curious about how I use AI in my creative writing process — or if you want to explore building something of your own — I put together a resource just for that.
You can check it out here:
The experiment continues. The darkness remains. And the stories — as always — are never far away.
